ABOUT CGT

Sports open the door.
Development is the larger assignment.

We are building a Cincinnati youth-development organization around athletics, academics, mentorship, family partnership, leadership, and community opportunity.

OUR PURPOSE

Safe space. Real skills. Stronger futures.

MISSION

Develop capacity

Cincy Grind Time develops young people through athletics, structured after-school programming, mentorship, family partnership, leadership, practical life skills, and safe community belonging.

VISION

Reliable adults. Real opportunity.

A Cincinnati where youth have consistent adults, predictable routines, meaningful practice, and visible pathways toward leadership and contribution.

PROMISE

Dignity is not a reward

Youth should be known, protected, challenged, and supported. Safety and respect do not depend on athletic ability or perfect behavior.

OUR VALUES

The culture should show up in behavior.

  • Protection before performance.
  • Structure without shame; correction without humiliation.
  • Families reinforced, not replaced.
  • Youth voice with adult responsibility.
  • Consistency, accountability, repair, and follow-through.
  • Public claims that distinguish plans from current availability.

ONE ORGANIZATION. DISTINCT PATHWAYS.

Know what you are joining.

Game Plan Academy serves the planned ages 5–12 pathway; B.U.Y.-In serves ages 13–17. Coalition of Dads supports mentorship and family reinforcement across the organization. AAU development is a separately governed athletics pathway.

CGT is not Reach One’s clinical youth program. Clinical services, when chosen by a family, require their own provider, consent, eligibility, records, and qualified personnel.

ORGANIZATIONAL HISTORY

Community roots and formal records.

The existing CGT document set identifies formal Ohio incorporation in September 2025. A longer community-history timeline will be published when its dates, participants, and activities are confirmed. Earlier informal efforts should not be mistaken for the activity of the current corporation.

Legal-status publication review: CGT’s formation and federal-status records are being reviewed for public display. This site does not independently certify tax status or the deductibility of a contribution.

THE COMMUNITY CAN HELP NOW

The next chapter
needs a whole team.

Bring a space lead, a skill, a resource, or a question. Help build a dependable place for young people to grow.
