THE IDEA

Your future is worth investing in.

B.U.Y.-In is not a demand that teenagers perform enthusiasm. It is a commitment to build credible opportunities, consistent relationships, useful skills, and room for youth to shape the experience.

Age bandEmphasis
13–14 · Identity BuildersBelonging, boundaries, voice, peer choices, digital conduct, regulation, and school connection.
15–17 · Legacy BuildersLeadership, relationships, employment readiness, money, service, portfolio work, and transition planning.

FIVE DEVELOPMENT LANES

Build a plan you can call your own.

01

Identity & belonging

Strengths, culture, values, self-respect, and trustworthy relationships.

02

Regulation & relationships

Body cues, safe expression, communication, boundaries, and repair.

03

School, work & money

Task planning, reliability, career exposure, practical budgeting, and next steps.

04

Voice, media & creativity

Storytelling, design, conversation, media literacy, and youth-generated projects.

05

Leadership & service

Listen, propose a change, plan, contribute, and show what was completed.

YOUTH VOICE

Make something that matters.

Bulldog mentor and young mascots creating a video with a camera, microphone, storyboard, and tablet.

Projects may include media, community-service planning, presentations, youth council recommendations, creative work, and a personal next-step portfolio. This is program design—not a promise of employment, paid placements, or public media publication.

Adults remain responsible for safety. Sharing a personal story is voluntary; a group is not a place to require trauma disclosure.

PROGRAM IDENTITY

A CGT pathway, not an automatic clinical service.

B.U.Y.-In is within Cincy Grind Time’s community program. It is not a separate website at /buy-youth/ and is not Reach One’s clinical youth program. Any clinical care is separately chosen, consented, and provided.
