LIFE SKILLS
Pause. Practice.
Carry it into real life.
A missed shot, a hard homework task, or a disagreement can become an opportunity to practice a safer next move.

CAPACITY, NOT PERFECTION
What young people can practice.
- Notice feelings and body cues before reacting.
- Ask for help, space, clarification, or a supported reset.
- Respect boundaries and speak up without harm.
- Hear correction, practice again, and recover from mistakes.
- Own a behavior without being reduced to it.
- Plan a task, contribute to a group, and follow through.
WHEN ADDITIONAL SUPPORT MAY HELP
A separate conversation, not automatic treatment.
A caregiver may choose to explore behavioral-health care with Reach One Clinical Services or another appropriate provider. CGT staff do not diagnose youth or turn recreation into psychotherapy.
